Know about Bor Tiger Reserve Bor Tiger Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary that was announced as a tiger reserve in July 2014. Situated close to Hingani near the Wardha river in Wardha district,  Bor Wildlife Sanctuary  is the sixth ‘Tiger Reserve’ of Maharashtra. It is approximately 65 Km away from Nagpur. It sprawls across 138 sq km area approximately, which includes the drainage basin of Bor Dam. Bor Tiger Reserve and some of the other connecting areas are remarkably getting included as the “Satellite core Area” under Pench Tiger Reserve. This  Bor tiger reserve  project was launched in the year 1973 by the government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
